Procedure for Submission of Paper / Workshop Proposals

The summary (not abstract) of the presentation should be sent to Conference Secretariat no later than 6 October 2006. The summary should meet the following requirements:
The length of the summary should be between 300-500 words.
The title of the summary should not exceed 15 words.
The biodata of the proposer should not be more than 50 words long.

The summary of an opinion paper should have: the title, full name (with no academic title), institution, e-mail address, the purpose of paper, arguments, elaboration of arguments, recommendation or closing remarks, and keywords.


The summary of a research paper should have the following elements: the title, full name (with no academic title), institution, e-mail address, the purpose of the paper, method, findings, discussion, conclusion or recommendations, and keywords.


The workshop proposal should have: the title, full name (with no academic title), institution, e-mail address, the purpose of workshop, activities, and suggestions.
The poster/film presentation proposal should have: the title, full name (with no academic title), institution, e-mail address, and the purpose of the presentation.


The Conference Planning Committee will inform the proposers whether summaries have been accepted by 20 October 2006.
The proposer has to send a soft and hard copy of the completed paper / poster to the Conference Committee no later than 20 November 2006.
If the soft and hard copies of the paper are not received by this date, the Conference Committee has the right to withdraw the paper from presentation.

Criteria for Acceptance
The conference Planning Committee and the TEFLIN Board will evaluate all summaries. Acceptance of summaries will be based on relevance of the theme, freshness, and originality of ideas. The Committee has the right to turn down the summaries / workshop proposals without providing reasons to the writers.
